Dracona

Sizemedium

Descended from dragons, the Dracona carry the legacy of ancient wyrms in their blood. Each Dracona shares a bloodline with a specific draconic ancestor, which determines the elemental type of their traits:

DragonElement
BlackAcid
BlueLightning
BrassFire
BronzeLightning
CopperAcid
GoldFire
GreenPoison
RedFire
SilverCold
WhiteCold

Their physical appearance reflects this heritage, manifesting as scales matching the color of their chosen ancestor, along with other dragon-like features of their choice, such as a reptilian face, a tail, or clawed hands.

Traits

Draconic Resistance

You gain resistance to your draconic ancestor’s element. You can also sense the presence and general direction of any Dragon within 30 feet of you, and learn their type, approximate age category, and your own ancestral relationship to them (kin, rival, unknown). The sense is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of metal, or any amount of lead.

Draconic Wings

You sprout leathery wings. While not wearing heavy armor, when you use the Move technique you can mark 1 fatigue to fly up to your speed; you must land at the end of the technique or fall.

Dragon's Breath

By spending 2 AP and marking 2 fatigue, you exhale a breath of energy in a 20-foot line or 15-foot cone, as set by your ancestor. Each creature in the area must make a Cunning or Power saving throw, DC +Power. On a miss, a creature takes 2d6 your ancestor’s element damage; on a weak hit, half as much.

You can use this breath weapon a number of times equal to your Prowess, and recover all spent uses as part of your daily preparations.
